Today 9th December 2022 being the last day of Kyambogo’s graduation ceremony that began on 7th December has seen among many students, four graduate with doctorates of philosophy.
These include Apolot Josephine Matha, Bubale Dan, Kyazze Rebecca Deborah who have all become doctor’s of philosophy in Education and Manano John who is a new doctor of philosophy in food processing technology.
The faculty of Arts and Humanities too welcomed a new Doctor yesterday 8th December 2022.
This adds to the already prestigious number of Doctors in Kyambogo University. According to the Vice Chancellor Prof Eli Katunguka, this rising number shows that the university is steadily progressing in the field of offering high quality education.
“The University continues to grow in stature and size,” he said.
The guests and other graduands were amazed by the exceptional recognition awarded to the new doctors of Philosophy today.
A summary of each one’s thesis was read after which each one of them danced to music as they ambled on the red carpet to the Chancellor who gave them their awards.
Most of them knelt down and thanked the God high above for such a great achievement. Some of the guests’ eyes were seen tearing, looking at how indescribably happy the great achievers were.
Loud rounds of applause were accorded to them as they marched towards their seats, leaving many young people inspired.
