An unidentified man was killed by a group of Banda boys this Friday morning after it was discovered that he had intentions of stealing from students at Imara hostel located in Banda.
Campus Bee can exclusively report that the body of the deceased was discovered outside the hostel premises early in the morning to the shock and amusement of students and other residents of Banda.
Attempts to make an Inquisition into his death led us to one of the residents of Imara hostel who preferred anonymity in narration of the events leading to his death. He said that the the deceased was a thief who was cornered as he attempted to steal a laptop from one of the students in their hostel room.
“The deceased was killed by banda boys but not students from Kyambogo University. The student whose laptop was being taken made an alarm and the thief was cornered and beaten to his death,” he narrated.
It has also been confirmed that the deceased was not a student of Kyambogo University. By 9:00 AM this morning, police had arrived at the scene and carried away the body of the deceased without making a comment.
Not so many weeks ago, there was another unfortunate incident where a lifeless body in a pool of blood was discovered outside Zig Zag bar in Banda, just next to Imara Pub. It has therefore turned out that this spot has become overly dangerous in what many have described as ‘the corner of death’.
