Dr. Pamela Tibihikirra-Kalyegira has been appointed as the new director of the Law Development Centre (LDC), succeeding Mr. Frank Nigel Othembi, who held the position for an impressive 12-year tenure.
Mr. Othembi officially stepped down from his role on April 30th, marking the end of an era at the prestigious institution. Speaking to this publication, he cited a desire to pursue personal and professional endeavors outside of his government service as the driving force behind his departure.
“Having dedicated over a decade of service to the government, I felt it was time for me to explore other opportunities and engage in personal pursuits,” Mr. Othembi expressed.
