Law Development Center (LDC) Lira Campus held its graduation ceremony today, June 30 as hundreds completed the bar course.
The campus had its fair share of the new graduation format at LDC whereby all branches held independent graduation ceremonies.
In a colorful event, the students were passed out upon successfully completing their studies as legal scholars ready to practice the law.
Former Chief Justice Benjamin Odoki presided over the ceremony as the chief guest.
He urged graduands to front integrity as they carry on their duties as counsels in the field.
“Integrity is the bedrock upon which the legal profession stands and I urge you to be the change you want to see in the society. Your commitment of integrity will change the future of the legal profession,” Hon. Benjamin Odoki lamented.
Today’s ceremony in Lira marks the end of this year’s graduation ceremonies at LDC following similar events at Mbarara and Kampala campus on 16th and 23rd June respectively.
This year (2023) LDC marked the 50th occasion of passing out graduands since its establishment in 1970.
Congratulations to all!
