The numbers of branches of the Law Development Center (LDC or Center) seems to be growing each other year, with expectations rising too, that the numbers of students admitted to study at the training institution will increase. It also seems that LDC Mbarara campus is a record success for the institution and so more seeds need to be planted all over the country.
Campus Bee has received word that there is a second branch in development, and would be ready for the next lot by the academic year 2019/2020.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Lira University, it was confirmed by the presence of officials of LDC and the university, that the second branch of the Law Development Center (LDC) will be opening in Lira District, Northern Uganda.
On the 12th June 2019 (Wednesday this week), officials from LDC who have were identified as the secretariat LDC Mr. Bakunzi Didas Mafasha and the Manager Administration, Mr. Lukyamuzi Hamis Ddungu, met with officials from Lira University to discuss the opening of the Lira District branch.
The group also discussed and reviewed an MOU between the two institutions about a partnership and regarding developments of the branch.
