The Law Development Centre (LDC) has issued a statement addressing the admission of 1,643 applicants who had not received their admission letters for the Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice for the 2024/2025 academic year.

These applicants had been left out in the initial round of admissions, raising concern among students, guardians, and sponsors.

Initially, the LDC admitted 1,753 applicants for the Academic Year 2024/2025. However, due to funding limitations, a significant number of applicants were left out, awaiting the release of additional funds.

Following engagement with the government, led by the Attorney General and other stakeholders, the government secured funding to accommodate these students, allowing their admission into the second intake scheduled to begin on 6th January 2025.

The LDC Admissions Board has now officially admitted all 1,643 pending applicants, and they are expected to receive their admission notifications via email by Thursday, 26th September 2024.
