The Law Development Center (LDC) officially released the academic results for bar course students of the 2022/2023 academic year.
According to an examination results circular issued by LDC director Frank Nigel Othembi, students are now expected to be able to access their academic results via their respective portals starting today Wednesday 7th February, 2024.
The Director also revealed the top 20 performers out of the 701 that successfully passed the volatile mission.
Best performing students at the bar course 2022/2023 include;
Exceptional performers at Diploma level were also recognized. This list includes students that were pursuing a Diploma in Law and a Diploma in Human Rights.
It should however be noted that as these students receive their flowers, 1300 students are on the other hand grappling with the disappointment of failure, with 894 required to re-sit supplementary exams and 492 facing the harsh reality of a complete failure.
Graduation
Students that passed and those that may successfully appeal to be on the graduation list will henceforth shift their attention towards graduating.
The Director confirmed that graduation shall be physical with ceremonies to be conducted at the respective campuses as follows: 12th April 2024 Mbarara Campus, 19th April 2024 Kampala Campus and 26th April 2024 Lira Campus. The Academic Registrar will provide details regarding graduation.
