LDC Warns Applicants of Fraudsters Claiming to Influence Campus Allocation

The Law Development Center (LDC) invited applications for the different programmes at the various campuses several weeks ago.

Many scholars intending to be a part of the institution expressed interest while citing preferred study venues amongst Mbarara, Lira, and Kampala.

However, information obtained by LDC indicates that there is a group of conmen calling Bar Course applicants that they have been allocated Lira Campus and that if they pay some money, they can be changed to Mbarara or Kampala Campus.

LDC has responded stating that; “we have not yet admitted students nor allocated campuses, and we do not charge any fee for allocating a particular campus.”

“Please note that under no circumstances shall LDC be held liable or responsible for any claims, losses, damages, expenses, or other inconvenience resulting from or in any way connected to the actions of these imposters,” LDC clarified.

LDC has implored the general public to beware and report such unscrupulous people to Police.
