Makerere University Kampala has released the list of students admitted under the private sponsorship programme academic year 2016-2017.
The list shows that the university has this year admitted a total 15,976 students on the private scheme in addition to the 2,000 who are sponsored by the Government.
Students wishing to pursue their degrees at the country’s oldest institution on private scheme should start picking their admission letters next week.

Freshers are expected to report on 6th to undergo the orientation week that will go up to 12th August, before continuing students can report on 13th. Registration commences on August 8.
