Yesterday, Makerere University Business school (MUBS) launched a 10-day training in French language.
The training is aimed at training French lecturers on French for specific purposes was graced by the MUBS deputy principal Professor Moses Muhwezi.
In the training, Prof Muhwezi applauded the French Club MUBS and the school in general to promote the language. He also advised the students to learn at least 5 languages if they’re to survive in a competitive global market.
‘’It’s not enough to know only native languages today. One needs a minimum of 3 foreign languages for business in addition to at least 2 native languages,’’ He tipped students.
On the same note, Assoc Prof Edith Natukunda from Makerere University urged students to learn the French language to enable them pursue different careers and goals.
