The latest campus sleeze on our gossip desk indicates that police in Kabale have arrested a 42-year-old lecturer at a university in Kabale on allegations that he defiled his 14-year old house maid.
The Police spokesman for Kigezi sub region Mr Elly Maate told the Daily Monitor that the minor complained to the police saying the suspect has been sexually abusing her every time his wife was away. The victim also told police that her master was responsible for her pregnancy adding that he has been abusing her since August last year.
“It is very unfortunate for a person who should have protected the rights of this young innocent girl to do contrary, ” Mr Maate said.
