Speaking in an exclusive interview with Campus Bee, Swamadu who will contest on People Power ticket says he is vying for the post to change the lives of people in the area.
“Service delivery is poor in the area. When I win the post, I will try my level best to develop the area. I will serve my people not only rendering services to benefit my family members,” he told Campus Bee.
Swamadu says he will provide skills to the youths in the area who are jobless.
“Seventy percent in the area are the youths but they are jobless and they are starving to earn a living. When they put me in power, I will make sure to teach them advanced methods of farming to help them reap from the fields among others,” he says.
Swamadu told Campus Bee that he wants to erase a stereotype that LC posts are only for people who are above 40 years of age.
“Most youth are left out because people believe that such posts are for people above 40 years. In this case when it comes to opportunities at Subcounty level , youths are left out,” he says.
