In such a lovely way to kick off Makerere University’s 74th Graduation ceremony, a graduand has taken the opportunity not just to accept his degree but to propose marriage to his ‘girlfriend’ during the congregation ceremony happening at the Freedom Square.
As his colleagues stood in anticipation to hear to their names being read, the young man had extra plans to execute.
With a nervous smile, he turned to his girlfriend who was seated among the graduands, and began to let out his feelings.
Having noticed the unusual moment, the onlookers murmured with anticipation as the dude knelt down on one knee, and pulled out a ring out of his coat and drew it towards the lady.
