Luke Olule Lokebe alias Lukas Blacc (stage name) is a young talented vocalist and a fourth year student at Makerere University’s School of Law.
Having been born in Bukoto-Kampala, it was only a matter of time before he could discover his inborn talent.
In 2020, Blacc made his debut in Uganda’s music industry with his first single step up, turn up and rent free.
Blacc has teamed up with Axon and Tia in his latest tune Money Magic that has attracted Ugandan music diehards.
BIRTH OF BLACC VIBES
After carefully crafting a line up of singles over a period of two years. Lukas Blacc embarks on his first body of work dubbed Birth of Blacc Vibes (BoBV).
BoBV is a ten track project mixed and produced by producer Axon and distributed by the Ntinda based label Brambram Records.
The artiste and the producer exhibit pure artistry throughout this genre-spanning project showing flexibility and comfort in various forms of music.
Lukas Blacc, through this project, seeks to embrace a challenge and create a non genre specific sound known as ‘BlaccVibes’.
The second part of the album manifests African reggae dancehall with tracks like Midnight Riddim, Sasila ft Jenesis Kimera and Tears ft Gideon Roots.
Blacc is optimistic that he can inspire the growth of Ugandan music locally and across the globe.
