If you’ve never heard of the mighty Lumbox Empire, you’re as good as a person who has never lived. Now please take note and feel free to start living.Just after a day of their porridge Night won best social event in the Mak Varsity Awards, The Lumbox Empire; fraternity between Mary Stuart(Box) and Lumumba hall has wasted no time in beating their very own Porridge Night with yet another event . Gone are the days of that familiar porridge without milk that usually accustomed fraternity events. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce: THE LUMBOX EXPLOSION!
Ever heard the words; free fun, hot babes, good music, cool guys and frrrreeee booze used in one sentence?-Then you can probably know what a Lumbox Explosion is all about. Like most of the Lumbox events, the explosion started by 6pm and yet unlike the usual events, smartly dressed boxers and Lumubists were already hanging around Mary Stuart parking lot. Not before long, the parking was full as people enjoyed free drinks, chapatis ,Nyama Choma and Ice cream.
The great symbol of the Lumbox solidarity (Gongom and Gongmess) was placed in the middle of the event giving inspiration to the Lumboxers.
The event began with the Lumbox anthem to which respect was shown as the guys held their Dumbas (balls) while the Stuart girls held their Baryamureebas (boobies). Thereafter, famous Lumumba songs that would send a priest straight to his death-bed graced the crowd as led by a Lumbox Culture Choir.
The Lumumbists then got some food for their eyes with Allah’s creations from Mary Stuart who swayed their sensual hips from side to side leaving many eyes out of their sockets. These appeared 3 times modelling; casual outfit, short party dresses and finally long dinner dresses.
As if that wasn’t enough fun, comedian Bluetooth entertained the crowd followed by Lil Andy and student musicians. Police was on stand still throughout the event to prevent the famous Lumumba cock fights and they were not disappointed as among the small fights came one which left one of the fighters detoothed.
Free things proved to have loyalty attached to them when the harsh drops of rain started and a sizable number of students still stayed finishing the event with an eventful Kadodi.
