Renown media personality Lynda Uwamahoro alias Lynda Ddane has thrown in the towel at Radiocity and instantly joined the Nation Media Group – owned KFM, Campus Bee has learnt.
Starting Monday 1st March 2021, Ddane will be hosting D’hook, a daily show on KFM running from 10am to 3pm. The show has for several years been hosted by Freddie Sakura. Ddane, who used to host a morning show on the Bugolobi-based Radio City has now switched things up and she will be working on a mid-morning show.
The excited Ddane took to her social platforms to say good-bye to her Radiocity fans before thanking the amazing team that worked alongside her everyday.
“Goodbye to the best colleagues I ever had! What an amazing bonding we shared. You made me look forward to coming into the office every morning.” Ddane wrote.
Lynda Ddane joined UBC TV in 2015 after working pro bono on Urban TV’s campus 101. While at UBC, Ddane was cohosting the Jam with Calvin the Entertainer where she rocked screens in the mentioned music show from Monday to Friday.
Ddane later quit UBC for the Serena-based NTV where she is currently co-hosting NTV the Beat, a daily music show running in the evening hours. She also works on NTV Dance Party every Saturday alongside other young talented entertainment gurus.
