Dr Stella Nyanzi, a research fellow at Makerere University currently on suspension over undressing after she was locked out of her office by her boss at Makerere Research Institute Prof Mamdani Mahmood, has said that President Museveni’s “insanity” will soon make her become a ‘suicide bomber’.
“The insanity of Museveni’s illegitimate regime brings me new impossible dreams of becoming a suicide-bomber,” the FDC diehard ranted.
Dr Nyanzi added: “President Kizza Besigye’s philosophy of non-violence deters me from my violent desires. But the insult of ordering the First Lady to stop and be searched like a dangerous intruder, yet she was going home to her husband and household, forces me to dream of going wired to the roadblock outside the People’s Statehouse in Kasangati. Blowing myself up and killing all the armed personnel posted there would be glorious martyrhood.”
Winnie Byanyima was last evening stopped outside her Kasangati home by police for a ‘security check’.
Below are some of the excerpts of Dr Nyanzi’s post;
“In their insane drive to illegitimately retain power, stooges of Museveni’s regime are badly losing it. The goof of police goons barring our First Lady Winnie Byanyima from accessing her husband and home before searching her bags makes my skin crawl with revulsion. The indignity of being ordered to stop, open your bags, and subject your personal belongings to the scrutiny of ugly armed strangers in national uniforms is another symptom showing we are back in Idi Amin’s regime.
Did the police spies expect to find little grenades neatly wrapped with the First Lady’s bitengi? Did they think that she put kilos of bullets in her cosmetic bag, pistols jam-packed into her hand bag, and AK47s with bayonets in her suitcases? Did these state representatives expect to find bombs tucked into the caps of her bras, and dynamite tied up with her panties and petticoats? Foolish insane state operatives rummaging through a lady’s luggage! Mmmmssstttteeeewwww.”
