MAK Deputy Vice Chancellor Wife Dies

The Makerere University community is mourning the sudden death of Mrs. Alice Bazeyo, a wife to Prof William Bazeyo, the university’s Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance and Administration. According to the information shared by the Vice chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe, Alice breathed her last on Monday 7^th January at their home located in Bugolobi.

The communication further indicates that there will be a prayer service at their home today, Tuesday January 8^th , that will be followed up by a funeral service slated to happen on Wednesday 9^th at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero.

The deceased’s burial ceremony will take place on Thursday, 10^th January at  their ancestral home in Itendero, Shema District.

Prof Bazeyo is among the two newly appointed Deputy Vice Chancellors by the university’s Chancellor, Prof Ezra Suruma who endorsed their services at the end of last year.
