Makerere University Examinations Board has today determined the fate of over 156 academically stunted students.
The students set to be dismissed include those who have had a CGPA below 2.0 for three semesters, those who sat for the same papers thrice and students who were engaged in examination malpractice are also to be suspended till further notice.
MAK has always fallen prey to Exam and marks related scams latest being the Sex for Marks incidents that awakened the action of the Examinations Board.
Malpractice rules are written on every Examination answer sheets despite this, students keep breaking these rules??. The university also has academic regulations set aside for students to follow which includes how many times a student has to retake an exam, what happens when a student scores low CGPA.
