A lecturer in the MAK journalism and Communication department identified as Dr.Annette Kezaabu Kasimbazi during the course of last week landed into a pot of gold.
Dr. Annette was appointed to Head a nine member committee ‘Uganda Pornography Control Committee’ in Fr.Lokodo’s ministry of Ethics and Intergrity.
She is to work together with famous Pastor Martin Ssempa, Dalton Opeonya, Victoria Sentamu, Joan Komugisha, Gaston Byamugisha, Ali Waswa, Sheik Muhamad and Dr. Fred Nyakuri.
The committee’s main role is to curb down the production and consumption of pornography. In line with the Anti-Pornography act, they are to detect the spread of pornography in its early stages, bring the convicts to face the law and to gather together all porn materials and vandalise them.
