It seems some Makerere students are running out of things to do. News reaching our desk is that Mitchell hall and university hall residents have taken it upon themselves to ‘keep’ the dinning cutlery (forks and spoons for those who don’t know).
According to the warden of the University hall, students have been carrying out of the hall plates, forks, cups and spoons once they are served their meals with the guise of eating from their rooms which is unacceptable.
Since the university recently privatized all meals in halls of residence to one private service contractor, it is easily noticeable when a plate or two go missing.
The warden went on to add that if anymore students are caught in this irresponsible behavior, they’ll be subjected to disciplinary actions.
