When the Mulago Cancer machine broke down back in April, every Ugandan had their talk about what should be done, a few organizations walked the talk of which MAK based Samaritan Cancer Awareness Association was among.

Led by Timothy Nyanzi and Aguti Faith Mercy both Zoology students, these two decided to start this after loosing a college mate, the late David Wairama to Prostrate cancer.
Coupled with the Crack down at The Mulago Cancer Institute back then, they believed forming this association would help create a cancer free society through public awareness.
