This does not come as a shocker- at least not with Makerere students. The latest on the Campusbee gossip desk is that Makerere University students have promised to thump Gagamel phamily president, Bebe Cool. Reason, Bebe Cool never showed up at the ongoing Bazaar where he had been booked to perform.
What happened
“That arrogant ‘Bebe Fool’ came but refused to come out of his car to perform. Funny thing is, he was paid but still never performed. As a result, the angry students surrounded his Hummer demanding him to get out and perform- dude just drove off almost running down some students. We have vowed to beat up that fool the next time he comes around the ivory tower,” Fred Asiimwe, an outraged students narrated the ordeal.
Last evening, the Love you everyday, Gagamel president big size took on the adult human path by officially apologising and detailing reasons why he didn’t perform to his entire Makerere University fan base.
Through his facebook page Bebe wrote;
“My apologies to all my fans at makerere university for not performing for you yesterday (that was Friday) at the mitchellex bazaar, I was told by the promoter to come past midnyt n on my arrival, i was threatened by students saying they were going to fight, stone my car coz I had come at midnyt and at this level I cannot be part of hooliganism as u all know that university students should lead as an example behaviour wise. There has always been a lot of complaints about artists fighting and we as artists r doing something about it, I therefore call on fans in Uganda to also behave well towards artists coz it takes two to tangle. Thanks I WILL LOVE U EVERYDAY”
In regard to the money laundering issue (BebeCool not performing yet he was paid), we’re yet to confirm on how the promoter and bebecool are to sort things out.
