In a letter addressed to various college principals in Makerere University, the University’s Vice chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe has issued a directive to display semester II exam results by Friday 8th June 2018.
According to Nawangwe, this issue was resolved in the 161st Senate Committee meeting held last month May 9th which suggested that the results be released on 8th June to enable timely production and issuance of Academic transcripts and graduation lists for the Makerere 69th Graduands.
The meeting also suggested the introduction of centralized marking system, a decision aimed at solving the problem of delayed transcripts. Nawangwe added that a top management meeting will be held to resolve any issues likely to arise following this exercise.
It should be noted that Makerere 69th prospective graduands sat for their final examinations last month which were concluded on May 20th 2018.
