Former Makerere University Guild President who also doubles as the newly sworn in Soroti Woman Member of Parliament Anna Adeke Ebaju is among the first group of students that are graduating during the Makerere University 71st graduation ceremony.
Adeke, who is graduating with a Masters Degree in Law was also sworn in today as the new Woman MP for Soroti. The excited Adeke, who showed up at the freedom square in time was spotted rocking her graduation gown like any other graduand ahead of her big day.
Adeke also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University in addition to a diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Center (LDC).
The youthful Ugandan lawyer and politician has also served as Member of Parliament of the National Female Youth in the 10th parliament (2016 – 2021).
