Albert Nuwagira emerged the best student from the science disciplines offered at Makerere University during the 72nd graduation ceremony.
Nuwagira who graduated with a CGPA of 4.82 in Bachelor’s of Food science and technology on Tuesday May 24th, 2022 was given the honour of best science student.
Nuwagira was presented with an award of honour from Makerere University convocation that comes with a cash prize of one million Uganda shillings.
Albert Nuwagira from the college of agriculture and environmental studies (CAES) is currently helping his lecturers to tutor others with hopes that he will be retained as a lecturer in the nearby future.
Makerere University’s 72nd graduation commenced on Monday May 23rd, 2022 with students from college of Health sciences, college of natural sciences and school of law graduating first.
On Tuesday May 24th, 2022, students from college of education and college of agriculture and environmental studies – to which Albert Nuwagira belonged came next.
Makerere 72nd graduation will end on Friday May 27th, 2022 and a total of 12,474 students are expected to have graduated by then.
