Makerere University 74th graduation ceremony is around the corner and momentum keeps building.
The highly anticipated ceremony will take place between 29th January to 2nd February, 2024 at the Freedom square.
As key stakeholders, former students under the umbrella group of Makerere University Convocation have come out to show support to the graduands.
According to the official X account of Makerere University Convocation – the association for Makerere alumni and staff has offered luncheons to the 30 top performers from each college during graduation week.
“We are elated to announce that during the #Mak74thGrad (Jan 29th to Feb 2nd), we shall be hosting a graduation luncheon for 30 best students from each college every day at the convocation house—@Makerere. Invited guests & members of the academic procession will join the students,” the association announced.
The luncheon will be guided by the theme; “Beyond degrees: Connecting careers, Impacting Communities”
It is expected that the graduands will learn a thing or two from their seniors who will avail the best advice on how best to navigate life after campus.
