Dr. Stella Nyanzi’s ex-lover, David Musiri has finally graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce (external) months after breaking up with the former Makerere University research fellow.

Musiri is among the thousands of students that graduated on day two of Makerere University’s 75th graduation ceremony.

The celebrated activist has registered several successes following his breakup with Dr. Stella Nyanzi. First, he got introduced by his long-time friend with wedding preparations underway. The degree will perhaps now earn him the rank of ‘learned foot-soldier’.

This graduation also puts him steps ahead in his Makindye West parliamentary election as he will now confidently pose as a learned contestant.

Makerere University’s 75th graduation began on Monday and will end on Friday this week.

The five-day ceremony will see 143 students receive PhDs, 1,813 earn master’s degrees, and 11,454 graduate with bachelor’s degrees in different fields.
