The countdown to Makerere University’s 75th graduation ceremony is officially on! MUBS graduands can now secure their graduation booklets and those coveted invitation cards starting Thursday, January 9th.
If you’re among the lucky squad graduating next week, here’s what you need to know:
The big days are set for Wednesday, January 15th, and Thursday, January 16th, 2025. Before you can walk across that stage, though, you’ll need to grab your essential graduation materials from 10 AM to 4:30 PM at your designated venue on campus.
Don’t forget to come through with:
- Your original University ID card or exam permit (no shortcuts!)
- Original graduation payment slip
- Photocopies of both documents (yes, both!)
Pro tip: Different courses have different pickup spots across campus. Here’s where you need to head based on your program:
PhD and Masters students will collect from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research Digital Lab, while undergrads are spread across various blocks. Business Computing fam should hit up Block 4, Room 2, while Finance and Accounting squad needs to head to Block 7, Room 2.
For all you future business leaders in International Business, Marketing, and Business Administration, your spot is Block 8. Meanwhile, the hospitality crew (Leisure, Tourism, and Catering programs) should make their way to Block 7, Room 1 or Block 3, Room 1.
