As Makerere University warms up for her centennial celebrations, the institution organized an alumni dinner for its former students.
The dinner held on Friday July 22, 2022 brought together former Makerereans from different spheres to share and create new memories.
The dinner centered on the theme ‘through these gates’, with an aim of celebrating great personalities that have gone through the gates of Makerere.
Like the lyrics of the institution’s anthem, Makerere’s alumni were given the joy and pride to remember its gates.
Makerere University will celebrate a hundred years of existence in October this year (2022).
The institution has organized a series of pre-events ahead of the centennial celebrations and the alumni home coming dinner being one of those.
The home coming dinner was proudly sponsored by Nile breweries, MTN, Stanbic Bank, Vision group, ABSA Bank, Centenary Bank among others.
