The Makerere university academic registrar has released details pertaining Makerere bachelor of Laws 2016- 2017 pre-entry examinations; a form of aptitude test which all interested in enrolling for law at Makerere university law school are expected to sit and pass with a mark at least 50% or over.
The exam examines; Reading and comprehension skills, Numerical and logic, language skills, analytical communication skills, and general knowledge.
This year’s examination is scheduled for Saturday 16th April 2016. The deadline for returning picked applications is Friday 5th April. Applications forms are at a none refundable fee of 80,000/- excluding bank charges.
The forms are available at room 505, Senate building. A-Level leavers are expected to have at least 5 passes at UCE. Male applicants must have scored 13 and over points; while females should have scored at least 12 points. A-level applicants from the years before 2013 must have scored 15, 14 for male and female applicants respectively.
It’s advisable to also carry all original documents including school and national IDs. For avoidance of doubt, the applicants must come in person. Diploma holders must have at least a 2nd credit plus in any humanities course from a recognised institution. Emphasis is made on certified documents not provisional results.
Mature entry applicants must have passed the mature entry exam set by Makerere university. Degree holders must be graduates from any discipline with certified copies of transcripts. Here attached is a copy of the letter released by the academic Registrar.
