The academic registrar of Makerere University on 5th March, 2020 announced that the Pre-entry examination for admission to the Bachelor of laws 2020/2021 academic year will be held on Saturday, 18th April, 2020.
Eligibility
For S6 leavers, one must hold a UCE with at least 5 passes and a UACE with atleast 13 point and 12 points for male and female applicants respectively.
For diploma holders, one must have attained a diploma from a chartered institution and certified copies of transcripts must be attached to the application forms
For degree holders, one must be a graduate in any discipline from a chartered university and certified copies of transcripts must be attached to the application forms.
The application forms can be obtained from the University, room 505, Senate building after a payment of UGX 110,000 (non-refundable) has been made to any branch of the following banks; Stanbic bank, DFCU, Post bank, UBA and Centenary bank. Six past papers will be availed as well on payment of this money.
All applicants willing to be admitted to the above mentioned course must sit and pass this examination.
The closing date for submission of the completed applications will be Tuesday 14th April, 2020.
