Makerere University has called for more applications to some degree programmes ahead of the start of the academic year 2023/24.
Among the programmes that have been re-advertised is the bachelor’s of law (evening programme). Vacists that sat the pre-entry exams and scored the pass mark but we’re not considered are encouraged to apply.
Makerere law school is expected to increase the number of students enrolled into the law programme for the academic year 2023/24.
The increment is as a result of the increased capacity brought about by the new school of law building that comes with more lecture rooms compared to the old block.
Applications are to be done online using ACMIS and will close on August 14th, 2023. All applicants are to pay a non-refundable UGX 50,000 (Ugandan applicants).
Successful applicants will be published on the university’s website and will join their colleagues for orientation on August 19th.
Several other programmes have been re-advertised and these can be downloaded below.
