Makerere University has dropped from third to fourth place in the African University Rankings, 2016.
The universities are ranked based on their teaching, international outlook, research, citations, and industry income.
Makerere University scored 15.9 percent in teaching, 58 percent in international outlook, 33.1 percent in industry income, 11.8 in research and 70.7 in citations.
