Makerere University has for the third time extended the application deadline for admission of graduate and undergraduate programs to 30th June 2020 to allow more time for interested persons to apply.
The first deadline date of April 30th was extended for more 30 days as students struggle with the online admissions portal of the biggest public university in Uganda. Most students claim the portal doesn’t favor those that use phones whereas others claim web browsers like Opera keep crushing. The second deadline was June 12 and now it has further been pushed to June 30.
“We have extended the deadline for applications for admission to Undergraduate and Graduate programmes to 30th June 2020.
We encourage prospective students to use the extension period to apply and/or complete any pending application process such as payment for the application,” the university said in a communication.
