Sad news reaching the Campus Bee news desk indicates that Grace Asaasira, a Makerere University fresh graduate has died following months of health complications. Asaasira, who recently graduated in absentia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology and Mental Health reportedly died yesterday, Sunday 19th January.
As the Makerere University community joins her family to mourn, we are yet to establish the real illness that robed us of her innocent soul.
According to a statement shared by Emmanuel Kiwewa, a tight buddy of the deceased, the former Makerere University student has been battling with sickness for the last one month.
“It saddens me to announce the untimely death of our beloved Asaasira Grace. Asaasira Grace had been sick for over a month. She died on Sunday 19.01. 2020. [I] am sorry to be the bearer of sad news. You sleep well our friend,” Kiwewa’s statement reads.
Ahead of Asaasira’s burial (date not yet known), our snoops have established that there will be a requiem mass in Kanungu where she will be buried, hopefully this week.
