Makerere University fresh graduate, Annah Ashaba was summoned by Uganda’s Internal Security Organisation (ISO) following her hard-hitting poem “I want to be Museveni’s side chic”.

Through her social platforms, Ashaba revealed that she met with Lt Col. Emmy Katabazi who serves as ISO’s Deputy Director-General on Saturday. Apparently, the meeting went on smoothly despite horrifying comments from our readers indicating that she will be whisked away in a drone over the said poem.

“Yesterday, I met with the DDG of ISO Lt.Col @EmmyKatabazi. I appreciate the dialogical approach and civility he used in regards to my poem “I want to be Museveni’s side chic”. We can always agree to disagree without fear of (and use of) torture, blackmail, drones and prison.” Ashaba captioned the photos in which she is seen rubbing shoulders with ISO officials.

Ashaba recently penned down an erotic poem decrying the continued closure of schools, among other political issues. In her poem, Ashaba vowed to let Museveni touch her slowly in those cozy moments that would see her persuade Sevo to reopen schools.

Read her poem here one more time >> I want to be Museveni’s side chic.
