As online fanatics continue to trash Uganda’s presentation at the ongoing Dubai Expo 2020, one bold tweep has come out to compare the expo to Makerere University’s freshers bazaar. According to Geoffrey D Obbo (@geoffobbo13), Makerere University students display their products better. It is said that the government of Uganda spent over UGX 3 billion to showcase at the mentioned expo.

“I have seen people display their things at the MUK fresher’s bazaar better than this.” Obbo tweeted.

Social media is currently on fire after pictures emerged showing that Uganda is showcasing Lato Milk and weird dances at the ongoing Dubai Expo.

“Dubai Expo: Uganda showcasing Lato Milk. We are proud of the team in Dubai,” NBS’ Canary Mugume tweeted.

The Expo that will run up to 31st March 2022 was officially opened on 1st October 2021 in Dubai.

Expo 2020 is a World Expo currently hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, originally scheduled for 20th October 2020 to 10th April 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Expo was rescheduled for 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022.
