Makerere University has released the dates for their 69th graduation ceremony that will be held at the university from Monday 14th January to Friday 18th January 2019.
The highly anticipated ceremony especially by finalist students and their guardians, shall run for a week with categories graduating on specific days.
The display of graduation lists at Colleges shall be done between 17th and 28th of September 2018 and there shall be a Special Senate Meeting to approve the said graduation lists on 18th October 2018.
Collection of graduation materials like invitation cards and graduation gowns shall be done between December 2018 and 11th January 2019
Graduands are expected from the ten colleges at the university including College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), College of Education and External Studies (CEES), College of Natural Sciences (CoNAS), College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CoCIS), College of Health Sciences (CHS), College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-security (CoVAB), College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS), School of Law (LAW) and Nakawa based Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
For one to successfully be cleared for graduation, they are required to have successfully cleared with their respective Academic Units, Halls of Residence, as well as the University Library, Hospital, Police Station and the Finance Department.
