Makerere has finally acquired the first ever solar powered street lights. As one drives along University Road at night, they cannot miss how the Eco -friendly streetlights brightly it illuminates the area.
The studies carried out in Makerere showed that 70% of the strikes in Makerere University will be avoided since the LED screens will help ease the security communication.
The general security is also believed will decline with the installation of these new lights. Kudos Muk, keep setting the trend!
