Makerere University students Guild has announced the dates and venue for the 2025 freshers bazaar.
The annual trade bazaar, meant to usher new students into the university, will be held from August 4th, 2025 to August 10th, 2025. Unlike the previous bazaars, this year’s bazaar will be held at pool road gardens.
The change of venue follows series of complaints from vendors about the low turn up at the past two bazaars due to the distant location of the former venue.
The new venue -pool road gardens, is at the centre of campus located between College of Business and Management Sciences (COBAMS) and Northcote. The new venue creates hope among vendors that there shall be an increase in sales at this year’s event.
The bazaar will start at 8am and end at 9pm everyday. This will be done in adherence to the rules governing social events at Makerere University.
