Afande Mucunguzi the head of security at MAK managed to lay his hand scuffs on the embattled former lecturer at the School of statistics, Mr David Opiro after an arrest order was issued by the DVC Prof Ogwang.
Good news from the VC Prof Ddumba indicates that students’ scripts have been recovered from Mr Opiro and handed over to the Dean school of Statistics and Planning.
More news reaching us indicates that Mr Opiro’s grievances won’t be neglected either and will be paid the over Shs11m that the university owes him.
For now, students who sat for Fundamentals of Accounting, Entrepreneurship principles and Fundamentals of marketing should be rest assured their marks have been recovered and nothing can come amidst their graduation this month.
