Makerere University Administrator Edward Kisuze was on Friday charged with indecent assault by Buganda Road chief magistrate James Mawanda Eremye. He was charged before Buganda Road court and remanded to Luzira prison on charges of attempted rape and an alternative charge of indecent assault.
The accused, who was pictured by a former Makerere student, Racheal Njoroge, forcing her into a sexual act in his office at the Makerere University Senate Building, denied all charges.
Njoroge alleges that Kisuze forcefully grabbed her and forced his way into licking her vagina when she’d gone to certify her transcripts.
Through his lawyer Kenneth Munungu, Kisuzze also applied for bail and presented four sureties, whom he asked court to find substantial.
He was arrested by police on 13th/April and remanded to Luzira Prison.
The magistrate yesterday sent him back on remand until 10th/May 2018 for a ruling on his bail application.
