Makerere University has officially announced the opening of applications for its 2025/2026 academic year postgraduate programs.
The Academic Registrar has invited prospective students to apply for a wide range of graduate offerings, including Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters, and Doctoral Degree programs.
According to the announcement, applications will be accepted until Wednesday, April 30th, 2025.
Interested candidates can submit their applications through the university’s online portal at https://apply.mak.ac.ug.
To qualify for admission, applicants must have obtained at least a first or second class degree from a Chartered University.
Additionally, candidates should possess a Uganda Certificate of Education (or equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (or equivalent).
All graduate programs are privately sponsored, and the university has emphasized that the published fees do not include functional fees, accommodation, books, research costs, or other expenses.
