Makerere University is by far the most revered institution of Higher learning not only in Uganda but globally.
Many scholars in the land would wish for just an opportunity to join Makerere at any cost even if it means changing their preferred dream courses of study.
Contrary to the above cliché, one student amongst the recently confirmed Government sponsorship beneficiaries at Makerere University says he’s not ready to utilize he occasion, at least not as soon as immediately.
The fellow, name withheld, cited unpreparedness of his mental state as the reason as to why he can not enroll at the university for his studies later this month until he ‘finds himself.’
This revelation stunned everyone close to him with a close a relative (cousin) taking the overwhelming dismay to the Tweeter streets.
Apparently, the gentleman’s decision to abdicate the prestigious opportunity has got his mother thinking that perhaps intense family or group prayers could free her son from the unimaginable demons.
“Who turns down a government sponsorship to study at Makerere University?” one would wonder.
