JOHN PAUL NUWAGABA
Looks like Ddumba’s woes are not yet over, at least not until he relinquishes that seat for another person and according to MUK
students, most preferably Hon. Amama Mbabazi the former PM.
Bwowe’s regime has made it their ranking mission to unseat the Mak don and with the support from the student population this might come to pass. For every bad thing that goes mess in the campus, the students attribute it to the VC. Recently there was a power black out in campus and one of the students was heard saying, “naye mwana Ddumba lwaki taggyamu ka wire naffe ne tweyagala ko,” literally meaning that, why doesn’t Ddumba remove the wire from the electricity meter so that the students also enjoy the benefits of electricity.
Since the end of the strike, there have been numerous threats of a strike pointing to a number of factors as justification for the strike
but the truth is, these chaps at the Harvard of Africa want to unseat the VC because of his draconian policies.
