Makerere University has announced plans to advertise Hall Attendant positions under the university’s Student Work Scheme.
This, following the expiry of current contracts, providing new opportunities for financially struggling students to earn stipends while pursuing their studies.
The decision was made during a management meeting held on Monday, May 26th, 2025, in the Council Room at Makerere University.
Dean of Students Winifred Kabumbuli announced that current contracts for Hall Attendants are set to expire on 30th June, 2025, prompting the university to open these positions to new applicants.
The Student Work Scheme is designed to provide opportunities for students facing financial difficulties to earn stipends and gain valuable work experience while continuing their academic pursuits.
Interested students have been advised to wait for details on the application procedure, which will be shared in due course.
