Makerere University Announces 72nd Graduation Dates

Makerere University has finally announced its 72^nd graduation dates. According to the university’s academic calendar for the academic year 2021/2022, the 72^nd graduation ceremony will run for 5 days from Monday 23^rd – Friday 27^TH May 2022.

The graduation will see thousands of students walk away with degrees and diplomas in their respective courses. This year’s graduands will finally celebrate after the learning difficulties they faced amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The calendar further indicates that semester one of the mentioned academic year will kick off on Saturday 5th February 2022 and will close on Saturday 15th May 2022. The semester will kick off immediately after the fresher’s orientation week which ends on Friday, 4^th February.

Additionally, semester two of the 2021/2022 academic year will run from Monday 30th May 2022 to Sunday 4th September 2022 (14 weeks ).
