Makerere University College of Health Sciences (CHS) has been awash with tragic news of another medical student who has gone missing for a couple of weeks.
Brenda Kugonza, a second year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Optometry is one whose whereabouts are not known for now three weeks back.
According to James Kiiza, a classmate to Kugonza says the former’s contacts have been off since she was last seen around campus.
“Her contacts are off and the one for the parents we were able to get from Senate can’t be reached. We either don’t know where she was commuting from,” Kiiza said.
This is not the first time that a medical student has gone missing, Mary Gorret Tino was reported missing but later found attributing the move to stress.
Anyone who finds Kugonza is asked to notify one of her course mates on 0756321114 or 0784321114.
By press time, the concerned class mates to the missing student were planning to report the case to police and later raise funds to advertise on Televisions, Radios and newspapers.
