Located in Western Uganda, Makerere University Fort Portal campus that was one of the branches opened in 2010 to address a number of challenges that were affecting both the University and the students who deserved such a branch Campus has been closed due to financial loss and its inability to sustain itself.
“Yes, it is true. It has been closed, however the continuing students and staff remain ours” commented Vice Chancellor Makerere University, Prof. John Ddumba Ssentamu.
The campus was only offering Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Development Studies.
